Business Acquisition Officer (BAO), Assistant Officer (AO) to Senior Principal Officer (SPO), SME Banking
Prime Responsibilities
• Achieve business targets through acquisition of new SME clients and development of a quality asset portfolio. • Promote SME loan, deposit, and trade products through proactive business development and relationship building. • Conduct client visits, assess financing needs, and prepare detailed credit proposals. • Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines, including AML or KYC requirements. • Manage portfolio quality through regular monitoring, client communication, timely payments and renewals. • Contribute to deposit mobilization and cross-selling of transactional or liability products. • Deliver superior customer service and uphold EBL reputation for banking excellence.
Qualification & Other Competencies
• Minimum Bachelors degree from a recognized institution. • 1-4 years of relevant experience in SME Banking, Relationship Management, or Corporate Sales within financial institutions. • Sound understanding of SME segments, credit assessment, and financial analysis. • Good knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards. • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in MS Office and digital banking tools.
