Trainee Officer - Cards Acquisition, Retail & SME Banking Division, Eastern Bank PLC.
Prime Responsibilities
• Identify potential credit card customers and can contribute positively to the expansion of card customer base. • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets set by the Management. • Ensure card activation and card utilization. • Motivate customers to take supplementary cards. • Query meet up and convince card analyst to release or approve card files. • Provide excellent customer service and promote a positive company image, ensure zero fraud issue. • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and obtain feedback. • Remain up to date with product knowledge, market trends, competitors offers and activities. • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities and customer visit or interactions, submit related report to line manager and department head weekly or monthly.
Qualification & Other Competencies
• Passionate and energetic individuals having a graduation with business background. • Previous experience (6+ months) in a similar role will get preference, however fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. • Excellent in communication skills. Fluency in English is much expected. • Good in interpersonal skills, having the ability to establish rapport and negotiate issues. • Applicants must be highly motivated and goal oriented with the ability to work both independently and as a team player. • Conversant with computer literacy - ability to navigate online platforms and work with Microsoft Office Applications.

Compensation & Benefit
• Monthly gross salary of BDT. 31,000. • Festival & performance bonus, hospitalization & maternity reimbursement, leave facility and other admissible benefits as per People Management Policy of EBL. • Absorption process facility to become full time employee of the bank after 18 months of joining depending on performance and discipline. • Will be able to work in a customer-centric, tech-driven as well as competitive environment.
