Trainee Assistant Officer (TAO), Recovery (Corporate / SME / Retail Loans & Cards)


Prime Responsibilities
•  Achieve monthly recovery target set by the department.
•  Follow up and necessary persuasions with the borrowers, guarantors and any other people related to delinquent accounts.
•  Conduct regular phone calls, physical visit, face to face meeting & discussions, letter & email communications with the related parties to meet the recovery target.
•  Keep records of his follow up and monitoring activities.
•  Meet customer queries and offer best solutions towards compromise settlement in line with Bank policy/Guideline.
•  Prepare recovery update for department head and Management on monthly basis.
•  Propose legal steps and regular follow up with legal team for faster disposal of case.
•  Account wise proper negotiation for adjustment and actively assist in Compromise Settlement.
•  Maintain necessary inter department and external communications based on assign task.
•  To assist timely submission of error free memos, office notes, execution of approved memos for issuance of loan adjustment certificates, CIB up-gradation to Bangladesh Bank and case withdrawal accordingly.
•  Compliance of Bangladesh Bank rules and regulation in regard to his assign task.



Qualification & Other Competencies
•  Business graduate with CGPA 3.00 or above out of 4.00.
•  1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role at a reputed bank is preferred
•  Willingness to work anywhere in Bangladesh.
•  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with adequate computer literacy.
•  Proactive team player, positive mindset and ability to work under pressure.
•  Ability to learn in-depth product, loan and legal knowledge quickly related to work.



Job Location
•  Any EBL work location in Bangladesh.


Compensation & Benefit
•  Monthly gross salary of BDT. 31,000.
•  Festival & performance bonus, hospitalization & maternity reimbursement, leave facility as per bank policy.
•  Absorption process facility to become full time employee of the bank after 18 months of joining depending on performance and discipline.
•  Other admissible benefits as per People Management Policy of EBL.
