Manager-Software Quality Assurance (Principal Officer-Assistant Vice President)
Prime Responsibilities
• Develop and implement SQA standards for EBL, Including code and related documentation standards. • Define scope of testing in the context of the completion of each project. • Develop Test Plan, Test Strategy, and Test Cases. • Ensure projects adhere to the test plan and strategy. • Assist business team in developing and conducting meaningful User/Business Acceptance Testing. • Design and prepare necessary test data. • Work with Project Manager to gather necessary resources to execute planned test cases and to execute test cases as planned • Conduct daily defect triage for all ongoing (relevant) projects. • Coordinate defect resolution with development/project team members. • Deploy and leverage test automation tools where necessary to perform automated test case execution, functional testing, load testing, stress testing, integration testing, etc.
Qualification & Other Competencies
• Bachelor degree, ideally in Software Development related field. • At least two years of application development in a structured environment. • At least five years of experience in software quality assurance, of which, at least two years in a QA Manager role. • Working knowledge of two-tier and multi-tier application architecture • Working knowledge of various DBMS including Oracle and MSSQL, including ability to develop queries in PL/SQL and SQL. • Excellent writing and presentation skills. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate with colleagues at all levels across the organization. • Highly developed cultural sensitivity in communicating with all levels of staff and external clients, both verbally and in writing. • Good problem-solving aptitude and creativity. • Familiarity with Banking Industry and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
