Project Manager (Assistant Vice President-Senior Vice President)


Prime Responsibilities
•  Evaluate business requirements & requests for functional and non-functional from a feasibility standpoint and advise CTO about the possible resource involvement (people, technology, cost), risks, bottlenecks, and anticipated delivery timeline.
•  Analyze project needs and assimilate, engage, and coordinate necessary resources to ensure timely progress and delivery with expected quality.
•  Draft and revise business cases, project plans, statements of works and vendor provided artefacts, highlighting potential issues and dependencies and recommend ways for ensuring success.
•  Prepare presentation and briefing material, status reports for EBL internal customers, the Senior Management Team and other stakeholder groups.
•  Update CTO daily on the status of all projects highlighting any risks or bottlenecks/roadblocks on running projects, and upcoming projects (planned or potential).
•  Ensure that systems requirements analysis provides sufficient formality and records for effectively communicating, coordinating, executing and quality assuring tasks between contributors.
•  Oversee project gates and ensure compliance from planning to delivery.
•  Develop and execute smooth and seamless project communication.
•  Regularize project artifacts and documentation as per EBL standards.
•  Keep abreast of developments in the ICT field especially in relation to emerging technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning and blockchain) and their impact on EBL ICT portfolio.
•  Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CTO.



Qualification & Other Competencies
•  Bachelor degree, ideally in Project Management, Business Administration (MIS), Information Technology or a related subject.
•  Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience in ICT project management/project delivery.
•  Deep practical knowledge of project, programme and portfolio management techniques and methodologies.
•  Project management certification and practical experience in PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile (preferred).
•  Organized, fast paced, process oriented and flexible to assume multiple roles and tasks to meet changing business needs.
•  Excellent writing and presentation skills.
•  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate with colleagues at all levels across the organization.
•  Highly developed cultural sensitivity in communicating with all levels of staff and external clients, both verbally and in writing.
•  Good problem-solving aptitude and creativity.
•  Familiarity with Banking Industry and Bangladesh Bank regulations.
