Assistant Financial Analyst to Financial Analyst (Officer to SPO), Retail Risk, Credit Risk Management, Eastern Bank PLC


Prime Responsibilities
•  Assess credit proposal as per bank credit policy, norms and in line with the guidelines of the regulators.
•  Cross check business related legal documents (business license, registrations, compliance certificates etc.)
•  Ensure compliance regarding collateral and documentation as per approved policy of the bank.
•  Conduct on-site business or premises visits of Early Alert, NPL & CL, regular and new accounts and prepare visit report to update in MIS for taking future credit decision.
•  Conduct expressive interview with the applicant, guarantor, referee and other related person.
•  Industry trend and market analysis report preparation and sharing with line manager or department head.
•  Deal with exception and waiver cases with proper justification in accordance with policy.
•  Find justified observations in proposals and communicate the same to concern business sources within TAT/ SLA.
•  Implement prudent checks and measures to detain fraudulent & substandard applications and keep record of such improper/fraud attempt and provide record to MIS for preservation and share such fraud attempt among other analysts.
•  Active participation in reviewing policy and on-going process whenever required in line with industry practices.
•  Conduct periodic review of portfolio and analysis of the same for future assessment decision.



Qualification & Other Competencies
•  Minimum graduation with relevant background.
•  2-8 years of experience in respective or similar job role as permanent employee in Banks and NBFIs.
•  Sufficient credit knowledge.
•  Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
•  Must be a team player and ownership to solve a problem.
•  Competent to deliver assigned responsibilities within deadline.
•  Mindset for geographic mobility and flexibility.
