Business Service Desk Officer, IT Division
Prime Responsibilities
• Ensure support to business users on desktop, Office Applications and other Software issues • Guide users about proper use of IT application and equipment • Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring services in any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network • Monitor network performance, WAN link status and report to Network Management Team • Proper Maintenance of IT equipment at branches and ATM Booths • Install hardware, software, and peripheral equipment. Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors for service resolutions • Setup computers and install software for various applications, programs and test network connections • Maintain inventory of the IT assets • Develop trends by monitoring and analyzing incoming calls, problems and support requests. • Develop and manage effective professional working relationships with vendor personnel, co-workers and users • Adhere to policies as per corporate manuals and directives
Qualification & Other Competencies
• Minimum Graduation preferebbly in Computer Science/ Electrical & Electronic/ Telecommunication/ Applied Physics from reputed university • Minimum 1-2 years equivalent work experience • Must work as a team member, hardworking, eager to learn and attitude to share knowledge among the team members • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Industry Certifications like MCP, CCNA, MCSE will be an added advantages
